About Me

Hi, my name is Jason Pribble. I am a graphic designer who resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. I work at the Las Vegas Review-Journal where I have been an advertising design specialist and most recently online design specialist.

I also have done freelance design for a variety of clients on projects such as logo design, brochure design, website design, advertisement design and illustration.

I have been and continue to be open to all new challenges in the world of graphic design. I have an unquenchable thirst for learning as much as possible about new techniques, styles and technology related to graphic design.

My strengths are: advertising design (print and online), logo design, web site design, and illustration.

Edge Ohio Workbook
What they wanted: Edge Ohio is a leading provider of instructional workshops devoted to organizational culture. They needed a complete redesign done for the workbook "Respect: The Source of Our Strength". The timeline was very short because they wanted to have it created, approved and printed before one of their upcoming workshops.
What I did: I was given old Adobe Pagemaker files from their previous all black and white workbook. After converting all the files to InDesign documents, I went through each page graphically enhancing the text, adding photography, custom illustration and charts and color coded headers and generally redesigning the entire look and feel of the book. The deadline was met and the response was extremely positive as they now have a workbook where the quality of the design now matches the quality of the content.

Veterans Administration newspaper ads
What they wanted: Call for action for companies to learn more about hiring US military veterans.
What I did: I created a series of ads that shows a person in an employment setting with his or her reflection in glass. In the reflection they are dressed in military attire. The goal of this is to encourage an employer to consider the military backgrounds of many people currently looking for employment. The copy at the bottom emphasizes why a person with a military background would be a good candidate for employment and also provides contact information to learn more.

R-J Classifieds newspaper ads
What they wanted: Sell Classified newspaper Advertising space in an eye-catching and memorable way.
What I did: I demonstrated that the newspaper is an easy and effective way to sell just about anything by creating a series of humorous examples of what some people might sell.

Rejavanate newspaper ads
What they wanted: Create an advertisement for the headline "Great Coffee. Live Music." Highlight specials and contact information.
What I did: I created a series of advertisements that combined musical imagery with coffee steam.
